Songtekst
I am Nadim
You know, my father is very far away
My mother told me he loves me very, very much
Why doesn't he come home and tell me so?
Like all the daddies of my friends at school
Mommie says he can't come home
She says he's dead
Such a little man, five years of age
Livin' in a world that's full of hate
Far too young to know what's right or wrong
Or to pay the price of what's going on
Love should rule the world
You and I can make this dream come true
Love should rule the world
That would be our answer to you
In the street he plays man fight a war
Don't they understand what life is for?
Meant to be raised and live in peace
But so different life for him would be
Love should rule the world
You and I can make this dream come true
Love should rule the world
That would be our answer to you
Mommie tells me daddy's always here with me
I want my daddy to come home
Mommie says he can't
She says he's dead
Love should rule the world
That would be our answer to you
When days are dark and nights are cold
You can reach out for his hand to hold
And what is part in worth will echo on
He will find he never left to be hound
Love should rule the world
You and I can make this dream come true
Love should rule the world
That would be our answer to you
Love should rule the world
You and I can make this dream come true
Love should rule the world
