Sabrina Starke timmert al sinds 2005 aan de weg en wist uiteindelijk het grote publiek te bereiken met haar debuutalbum Yellowbrick Road, dat in 2008 uitkwam en uiteindelijk zelfs platina werd. Een echte hit in de Top 40 bereikte ze pas toen ze samen met BLØF de samenwerking aan ging met het nummer Meer Kan Het Niet Zijn. Afgelopen zomer kwam haar derde album uit, bij 8Ball Music. Van dit album is ook Backseat Driver afkomstg; een samenwerking met de Nederlandse reggaezanger Ziggi Recado. Ziggi wist eerder in 2006 de Top 40 te bereiken, toen hij samen met Ali B de track Till Morning uitbracht.
