Preachers from the churches
Of the world do always claim
That sinners use the Sunday
To play their wicked games

And bells ring every Sunday
As if they try to say
You're welcome to the church
To hear the preacher pray

The altar is empty
It's ten o'clock
The preacher wears his dirty socks
Tha candle's down
The rats have drowned
The people hear to praise the Son of love
Of love

Try to realize
The depth of what you say
Try to memorize
The thoughts you have today

But inside I can see
The things you want to be
