De medley is ingezongen door Tracey Ackerman, bij Lucky Star wijkt de songtekst iets af van de oorspronkelijke tekst van Madonna.
Toen de Into The Groove Medley op 26 oktober 1985 de Top 40 bereikte, had Madonna nog maar met vijf verschillende nummers in de Top 40 gestaan. Op Crazy For You na zijn al die Madonnahits in deze medley te horen. In plaats van Crazy For You is Lucky Star te horen. Dit was de opvolger van de single Holiday. Hoewel Lucky Star Madonna's eerste top 5-hit in Amerika was, bereikte het in Nederland nooit de Top 40.
