Voor wie het nog niet wist: Norma Jean (Baker) was de naam die stond in het paspoort van Marilyn Monroe. Marilyn was regelmatig het onderwerp van verschillende liedjes, de meest bekende is Elton John's 'Candle in the Wind " uit 1973. In 1997 nam Elton het nummer opnieuw op maar toen ging het nummer over het leven van de verongelukte Prinses Diana. Deze versie bereikte de 1e plaats in de Top 40.

Wist je dat? Typische "one hit wonder" van de Amerikaanse zanger John Collins Cunningham. Zowel in Engeland als Amerika was het nummer geen hit.
